I have a 3G sim card and the system fails to send SMS messages?

The Yacht Sentinel device is designed to send messages over a GSM telephone network. It is suitable for all GSM networks, frequencies and providers. It will not work on a 3G network.

The system alerts me when the shore power switches off, will it alert when the power comes back on?

The Yacht Sentinel device automatically sends an SMS every ten minutes when the power voltage is disconnected. Sending a Status? command to the system will enable you to check if the power supply is restored. We recommend calling the Marina manager to investigate the reason for the power outage.
